A garden centre in Preston has unveiled a new foodhall this week.
Dobbies Preston, at Blackpool Road in Clifton, opened what it described as a ‘vibrant new cottage kitchen garden style foodhall’ on Thursday (12 March) after a renovation.
The garden centre group said it had listened to feedback and identified ways to improve the food range for customers.

This includes now stocking over 1,500 products and expanding the range at its in-house bakery.
Peter Walker, General Manager at Dobbies’ Preston, said: “The foodhall is one of the most popular areas in the store and an important part of our garden centre experience.

“We’ve been working hard on the new format that’s inspired by a cottage kitchen garden and brings together essentials, treats and seasonal variety through a range of both popular and new brands. We’re excited to welcome customers in to see the new ranges and try them for themselves.”
There will be selected discounts on a number of biscuits, chocolates and cakes, along with mixers, until 31 March.
