Freemason group raise total of £2,250 for help cancer patients at Royal Preston Hospital

Member of Preston’s The Lodge of Unanimity have donated £400 to Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

By raising funds through raffles and collections, the donation increased the total raised for Rosemere over recent years to £2,250.

Lodge treasurer Trevor Phillips, who presented the lodge’s latest donation said: “We have a long running connection with Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

“The charity is close to our hearts as a number of our members and people close to them have received treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre.”

The money raised will contribute to bring cancer treatment to patients Lancashire and South Cumbria, including Royal Preston Hospital.

Digital and communications officer for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, Amy Hilton said: “Our thanks to all lodge members for their ongoing support. It really means a lot of us and is very much appreciated.”
