A city centre restaurant and bar had a near miss in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A crew from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service was called to St Wilfrid Street in Preston shortly after midnight on Sunday morning (29 March) after a fire at a set of bins outside of burger eatery All Hopes No Promises.
According to the restaurant, a member of the public was vigilant and called the fire service. They stressed that they are open as usual on Sunday.
A post from All Hopes No Promises said: “We are open today. Despite that in the early hours of this morning, we could have had a serious fire when our bin was set on fire by some young kids.
