A dispersal order has been put in place across parts of Swansea following a rise in reports of anti-social behaviour this evening.
South Wales Police confirmed that a Section 35 dispersal order has been authorised in Swansea city centre on Saturday (April 4), giving officers additional powers to tackle those behaving in an anti-social manner.
The order covers key areas including Swansea Bus Station, Swansea Quadrant and the Parc Tawe area, and will remain in force for 12 hours.

Police say the move comes in response to increased incidents involving youth-related anti-social behaviour and criminal activity in and around the city centre.
Sergeant Molly Llewellyn said: “There has been several reports of youth related anti-social behaviour and criminal activity in and around the area this evening. This type of behaviour will not be tolerated.
“We are appealing to parents and guardians to ensure they know where their children are and what they are doing, and to help us keep our community safe.”
