HIs parents, Deepika and Anil Sriram, said: “We are extremely happy with his first Olympiad win. My son now approaches maths with much more confidence.

“The BYITC teacher’s engaging style and regular practice have really improved his mental calculation.”

He was among twelve other winners from across the country and took on challenges such as mental arithmetic and problem solving.

Dr Rashmi Mantri, founder of BYITC, said: “Congratulations to all our remarkable winners. Every child who took part showed commitment, discipline, and a real passion for learning.

“This year’s 20% increase in entries shows just how strongly young people across the world are engaging with numeracy, particularly as technology and AI continue to shape their futures.

“Our Olympiad aligns perfectly with World Maths Day, reminding us that maths is a universal language that connects us all.

“Youngsters thrive when they are challenged, and competitions like this help develop resilience, problem‑solving skills, focus, and confidence – abilities that will benefit them throughout life.

“We are incredibly proud of the effort and enthusiasm shown by every participant.”
