A property in Coppull which blighted neighbours with loud music and drug use has been shut down by police.
Officers from Chorley’s neighbourhood policing team at Lancashire Constabulary secured the closure order at a ‘problem address’ on Poplar Drive.
The order was granted at Lancaster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (31 March) under section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, and closures are now active for three months which prohibits anyone from visiting the property.

PC Georgina Anson from Chorley’s Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “This closure order sends a clear message that persistent anti‑social behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities.
“Working closely with our partners and the local community, we have taken decisive action to restore peace to the area.
“We hope this provides reassurance to residents and encourages anyone affected by similar issues to come forward so we can continue to take robust action.”
