Work is continuing on the huge new Kerakoll UK plant between Preston and Grimsargh.
Kerakoll UK and Lancashire-based Barnfield Construction have announced that all windows, doors, wall cladding and solar panels have now been installed at the Preston site, with the aim being to get customers into the plant in the second half of this year.
Phase one of the £20million Kerakoll project at Roman Way industrial estate at Red Scar, includes a state-of-the-art distribution centre, research and development centre and training campus for Kerakoll, which is a world leading manufacturer of building products.

The new facility represents a significant investment in the region and will support Kerakoll’s continued expansion across the UK and Northern Europe. Building completion and handover is scheduled for November 2026.
