A new coffee chain is heading across the Pennines with its first location in Lancashire.
Coffee Boy has tabled proposals for a new two-storey coffee shop in Fishergate.
The former Derian House Children’s Hospice charity shop would be converted if plans go ahead.
Two separate planning applications have been lodged by the Yorkshire-based coffee outlet for alterations to the shop front and windows along with new signs and display screens.
The former charity store is at the corner with Mount Street.

Coffee Boy would be the latest food and drink chain to open in Fishergate following in the footsteps of Black Sheep Coffee, Wingstop, Popeye’s and Chopstix.
