A local organisation organised an Eid Al Fitr event at a nearby centre.
Teenspired, which offers safe spaces and opportunities for young women, held a full day to celebrate the religious occasion.
The day featured a BBQ, an ice cream van, a bouncy castle, and henna painting.

Raihana, a trustee of Teenspired, said she wanted to: “Bring sisterhood to those who needed it most – women rebuilding their lives, families new to the UK, and mothers carrying heavy responsibilities alone.
“No one should feel alone on Eid.”
The event was hosted at Catherine Beckett’s Community Centre and supported by a Preston City Councillor.
Deputy Mayoress Nweeda Khan, who supported the event said: “A fantastic event which is much needed in current times.
“It is heartening to see community organisations like Teenspired providing inclusive, culturally sensitive support for women and children across Preston.”
