A Preston dad has taken on a 15,000 foot skydive to support a local charity.
Adam Hewitt skydived to show his appreciation for Baby Beat, a charity which makes smaller clothes for premature babies like his now two-year-old daughter, Penelope.
Adam said: “It was an amazing experience. Such a thrill. I’d do it again tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who supported me, helping me to hit my goal of reaching £500.”
The raised £530 are set to go towards the charity within Royal Preston Hospital’s Sharoe Green Maternity Unit, where his wife Chloe works.

Joanna Allitt, fundraising manager for Baby Beat, said: “Congratulations and thank you to Adam and to everyone, who supported him, for this wonderful donation.
“I know skydiving was one of Adam’s long held dreams and we’re so pleased he had such a lovely blue, sunny sky for it.”
