Two men have been arrested after a young man was assaulted in Preston.
Police were called to an address at Bleasdale Street East at 12.50pm on Wednesday (22 April) to reports of an assault.
They found that an 18-year-old man had been assaulted and suffered a slash injury to his face.

A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault – the most serious form of non-fatal violent crime – and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Both are in custody. The victim has been treated and discharged from hospital.
A spokesperson for police said: “We were called at 12.50pm yesterday to an address in Bleasdale Street East, Preston, to a report of assault.
“Officers attended and found that an 18-year-old man had been assaulted inside the address and suffered a facial injury.
“A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault, and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in a dwelling. Both are currently in custody.”
