The young boxer trains out of the Larches and Savick Boxing Gym and has worked incredibly hard, according to his mother.

Thomas’ mum, Amanda, said: “There are honestly no words to describe how proud we are of Thomas for becoming National Champion.
“To watch our little boy work so hard, push through every challenge and dedicate himself completely to the sport he loves has been emotional beyond belief.
“People only see the fights, but they don’t see the early mornings, the exhaustion, the sacrifices, the nerves, the tears and the determination it has taken to get here.”

“Thomas has given everything to achieve this dream, and seeing him crowned National Champion is a moment we will never ever forget.
“No matter what he goes on to achieve in boxing, we are already so proud of the kind, hardworking and humble young man he is becoming.
“Thank you to his amazing coaches, supporters and sponsors for standing beside him and believing in him every step of the way. Our hearts are bursting with pride.”
Thomas is currently being sponsored by firms SEI and LCM.
