A local community choir is to start a kids’ group in June.
Local Vocals meet weekly to support both the community and local charities with over £56,000 of support.
With a group thriving in Fulwood, it is to expand into a youth-friendly space out of Fulwood Free Methodist Church.

The first choir event, on Saturday 13 June, is open to all primary school children from 10:30am until noon.
A spokesperson for the choir said: “Singing for children is often limited to expensive 1:1 singing lessons or more formal choral, audition-based choirs, so Local Vocals are excited to bring a joyful, inclusive singing experience to any children of primary school age who love music.
“As always with Local Vocals, there are no auditions, no singing alone and no pressure – just a welcoming, fun singing session for every child involved.”
