Eldon Square is inviting families to dive into some messy creative fun this May half term with the launch of a free slime-making workshop for children.
Running from Tuesday 26 May to Sunday 31 May between 11am and 4pm, the hands-on activity will give young visitors the chance to create their own colourful pot of slime to take home, offering a fun-filled family day out in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Popping up in St Andrew’s Way, outside Hollister, the hands-on workshop is free to attend with optional donations welcomed in support of Newcastle United Foundation.
Helen Cowie, Centre Director at Eldon Square, said:
“We’re excited to bring some fun to Eldon Square this May half term. It’s a brilliant way for families to enjoy free, creative activity in the heart of Newcastle, while also supporting Newcastle United Foundation and the fantastic work it does across the region.”
Families can make a full day of it at Eldon Square this May half term, with plenty to enjoy before or after the slime-making fun. From shopping at family favourites including H&M and Fenwick, to grabbing a bite at Nando’s or Wagamama, Eldon Square has everything for an easy day out in the heart of Newcastle.
