Sundowns’ Colombian striker Bryan Leon scored the equaliser in the 55th minute, after Chiefs took the lead through Flavio Silva midway through the first half.

The result at Loftus Versfeld means the defending Premiership champions are now just three points clear of rivals Orlando Pirates who have a game in hand.
The Buccaneers also have a superior goal difference with three relatively easy fixtures remaining — against Magesi F.C, Durban City and Orbit College.
