A fire has ravaged a large warehouse at the Amalgam industrial site in Langlaagte, Johannesburg, in the early hours of Saturday morning. Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) says firefighters found the two-thousand-square-metre warehouse fully engulfed in flames at around 2 AM.

The intensity of the blaze caused the roof to collapse and the exterior walls to cave in.
EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says no injuries have been reported.
He says, “The fire incident has been extinguished right now. Our fire investigation teams will be continuing with the investigations to determine what might be the cause of this fire incident.”
City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services says investigations are underway after a fire incident at a warehouse in Langlaagte, Amalgam industrial site, which caught fire in the early hours of this morning.
