Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has named two players recently included in the South African under-20 team in his 46-player squad for the inaugural Nations Championship, starting with a test match against England in Johannesburg on July 4.
The squad features six uncapped players and a host of returning Bulls players who were unavailable for Saturday’s Barbarian match in Gqeberha due to their United Rugby Championship commitments.
SA under-20 captain Riley Norton and fly-half Vusi Moyo were drafted into the senior squad after polished performances against the Baabaas.
They are now set to miss the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Georgia starting next weekend.
Rassie Erasmus: “To score 80 points is nice…but we need to eliminate defensive lapses and be better as a unit when we play against England” – more here: https://t.co/kz1omOe9Mf
