Four killed, one critically injured in Lotus River gang shooting

Western Cape police say they have stepped up operations in Lotus River in Cape Town following a shooting incident.

Four people were killed and one seriously wounded in the suspected gang-related incident which happened last night.

Police spokesperson, Novela Potelwa says, “The incident is believed to be linked to gang violence and the Anti Gang Unit detectives are investigating.. with no arrests effected yet. The victims were all sitting in front of a block of flats when a vehicle emerged and the occupants opened fire on them.”
