Miller Park came alive to the sounds of South Asia during Saturday as the city enjoyed the annual Mela.
The stage was set for dance and music performances while traditional Asian cuisine was available from stalls around the park.
With additional funding and backing this year from Preston City Council a seven-hour extravaganza took place.

Those performing included Red Rose Raagas, PR Dholia’s, Dhol Tasha, Gidda Group and Lions of Punjab Bhangra Group.
Mick Porter and Dave Pratt were there, trying to keep their camera lens still amid the beats, to snap the Mela fun.
