A smattering of pink took over Avenham Park at the weekend for the return of Race for Life to the city centre.
Moving from the usual Moor Park spot it was back in the surroundings by the river with runners taking on 10k, 5k and 3k routes.
Pink wigs, t-shirts and plenty of other outfits made up the mass of runners who took part.

While those doing Pretty Muddy’s inflatable and very messy assault course didn’t stay pink for long.
But there were smiles all round and tens of thousands of pounds raised in memory of loved ones and to support Cancer Research UK.
