There’s a range of prizes on offer for the best scarecrow created and decorated.
Neighbourhood councillor Ben Ward said: “Every scarecrow adds to the occasion and helps to create a wonderful community feel. Let’s get as many roads, avenues and streets included as possible.”
The community has been instructed to display their home-made scarecrows from Monday (15 June) to Friday 19 June.

Once displayed and registered by email, the participants enter a competition for the best scarecrow.
The prizes include best residential scarecrow (1st £50, 2nd £30, 3rd £15) and best non-residential scarecrow (1st £50, 2nd £30, 3rd £15)
