A man is in hospital after a serious crash close to Dobbie’s Garden Centre in Clifton.
Emergency services were called to the A583 to reports that a grey Peugeot 208 had collided with a tree at around 12pm on Wednesday (3 June).
The passenger of the car, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries. He is described by police as being in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Now police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
A spokesperson for police said: “We are appealing for witnesses, dashcam and CCTV footage following a single vehicle collision in Preston.
“It happened at around 12pm on Wednesday 3rd June on the A583 close to Dobbie’s Garden Centre when a grey Peugeot 208 collided with a tree.
“A passenger in the car, a man in his 40s suffered serious injuries and is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
