Rail services between Preston and Manchester are seeing major disruption during Sunday afternoon due to a fatality on the line.
Emergency services are working at the scene since the incident was reported just after 2.30pm on Sunday (7 June).
Avanti West Coast, Northern and Transpennine Express services are all affected on the line between Preston and Bolton.

Buses are currently replacing trains on all services and a number of train services are terminating early.
A statement from National Rail said: “The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Bolton and Preston. Whilst they carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains are unable to run between these stations and will be cancelled and revised.”
Rail disruption is expected until around 5.30pm on Sunday.
