A man in his 60s was attacked while out for a lunchtime walk at Withy Grove park in Bamber Bridge.
Lancashire Police confirmed they were called to Withy Grove Play Park in Brindle Road at 1.53pm on Thursday 4 June.
An assault had been reported to them.

No one has been arrested at this stage and enquiries remain ongoing.
