Suspect in Harrismith double murder to appear in court

A 26-year-old suspect is expected to appear in the Harrismith Magistrate’s Court for the alleged double murder of two brothers, aged 9 and 14, at Toekoms farm near Harrismith.

The suspect was arrested last week after one of the victims identified him as the attacker before succumbing to his injuries.

The boys were discovered near the door of their house by a security guard.

The suspect has been charged with two counts of murder.
