The SACP in Limpopo has announced its new leadership

The South African Communist Party (SACP) in Limpopo has announced its new leadership following an elective congress which is underway in Nkowankowa outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.

Chuene Malebana has been elected provincial secretary, while Percy Ndlala was elected provincial chairperson and Machike Thobejane as the deputy.

Jeanette Mashego is the provincial treasurer.

Rudzani Ramugumo and David Makhafola are the first and second Deputy Secretaries, respectively.

The new leaders were elected unopposed.

Current Limpopo premier and ANC provincial chairperson Doctor Phophi Ramathuba, who was the SACP’s provincial deputy chairperson, did not attend the conference.
