Two men in court after drugs found in car at Queen’s Street retail park

A car stopped by police at a city retail park was found to be carrying cocaine and crack cocaine.

Lancashire Police pulled over two men in the vehicle on Tuesday 9 June at the Queen’s retail park in Queen Street.

During a search three mobile phones, a knife, cash and a quantity of Class A drugs were uncovered.

The two men, both from Preston, are appearing before Preston Magistrates’ Court to face multiple charges.

Zak Cafferkey, 31 of Farmer Drivers, Goosnargh, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

Oliver Gardner, 29, of Trawden Crescent, Ribbleton has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and possession of a knife in a public place.
