The village of Grimsargh is preparing for a mass table top sale to help raise funds for a school playground redevelopment project.

During Sunday (5 July) a table top tale trail is taking place at venues and homes across the village.

A trail map can be collected, costing £1, from Cazza’s food van in The Plough pub car park and stalls selling everything from clothes, toys, household items, books, plants, crafts and more are spread across Grimsargh to find.

All funds raised will go towards the Grimsargh St Michael’s Church of England PTFA’s crowdfunder to revamp the play facilities at the primary school.

Chair of Grimsargh St Michael’s PTFA, Deb Jacques, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Your Social Events Company for organising this fantastic event for us. It’s a wonderful opportunity to pick up some bargains, spend time with family and friends, and support a project that will benefit generations of children at our school.

“We hope as many people as possible will come along and join us. And, if it’s a success, we’d love to see it become an annual village event.”

The table top sale trail runs from 10am to 2pm.
