A new multicultural music event is set to bring African and Asian sounds to Preston city centre.
Afro Asian Fusion: Lagos to Seoul will take place at Wonderwall in Church Street on Saturday 11 July.
Organisers describe the event as a fusion of two continents on one dancefloor, offering partygoers the chance to experience a wide-ranging soundtrack.
The event will feature DJs playing international hits from a diverse mix of genres including Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Afro House, K-Pop, Bollywood, Japanese pop hits, Nepali music and Tollywood.

There will also be performances from local Afrobeat artists, including Potoski, who recently released his new single Owomida, and Dr. AKP, who will perform songs from his debut album, The Essay.

Dr. AKP said: “The night aims to bring together people from different backgrounds through music, dance and cultural exchange.
“Beyond the entertainment, the event reflects the growing diversity of Preston’s music scene and the increasing popularity of African and Asian music genres among local audiences.
“With Afrobeats continuing its global rise and more artists from the North West embracing the genre, events like this help showcase Preston as a city where different cultures can come together, collaborate, and be celebrated.
“We hope the event will help grow the local Afrobeat scene while creating opportunities for artists and audiences to connect.”
