Eight-year-old Coushal Sriram was one of the winners at the British Youth International College’s Inspire Awards 2026.
Coushal attends Euxton Ce Primary School and became a Maths Olympiad graduate.
His parents, Deepika and Anil Sriram, said: “This achievement is a wonderful reward for Coushal’s dedication and hard work.
“The Olympiad has encouraged him to step outside his comfort zone and believe in his abilities.”

The ceremony hosted over 100 attendees to watch 29 students from the UK and Ireland celebrate achievements in three categories: the She Power Awards, International Maths Olympiad and Abacus Programme.
Judging the ceremony was Mrs Rohini Sharma Joshi OBE, Mr Kiran Sagar, Mr Harminder Berman, and Mr Charan Gill MBE.
Founder of the British Youth International College, Dr Rashmi Matri, said: “It was fantastic to see such a strong cohort at this year’s Inspire Awards and congrats to Coushal.
“These young learners have shown exceptional dedication not only in developing their maths and academic skills, but also in building confidence, leadership, and determination.
“They are wonderful role models for other children in the community.”
