A road in the city centre was partially blocked while crews battle a significant fire at a building.
Crews from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service were called to Ormskirk Road at around midday on Sunday (26 July).
The upper floor of 29 Ormskirk Road, above a vacant unit that was once So Noodle Bar, was well-ablaze.

A hose-reel jet was being used by crews from the fire service to help extinguish the fire.
