An event celebrating accessibility and inclusion is set to take place in Preston later this month.
One Community, Many Voices marks the end of a project by a group of disabled volunteers, who have filmed locations across the city that showcase good accessibility.
The project follows recent calls for improvements to accessibility in Preston, with organisers hoping to highlight examples of businesses and organisations that are already helping to remove barriers and create more welcoming spaces.
The short films will be shown during the event, which will also feature guest speakers, stalls from local disability groups, and opportunities for people to meet, share ideas, and connect.

A spokesperson for the group said: “We know everywhere can’t be perfect, but we want to show that businesses can make simple, and sometimes cost-free changes, that have a real impact.
“We’re aiming to host a fun and inspiring event to celebrate diversity and showcase how accessibility benefits everyone. Come along to see how small changes make a big difference in creating an inclusive world.”
