A local female-only gym has installed a publicly accessible defibrillator outside their gym.
Female Body Workouts in Barton installed a 24-hour defibrillator for both their gym users and local residents and businesses.
With a main aim of supporting physical health and wellbeing, the gym said they wanted to extend the support ‘beyond the gym walls.’

Gym owner and CEO of Female Body Workouts, Freya Wood said: “As a past nurse and with some of my team’s family members suffering from cardiac conditions, this is something we were all passionate about.”

She also thanked local businesses and members of her gym who contributed to funding the device.
