A road in South Ribble is closed for repairs to an apparent burst water pipe.
Gregson Lane is closed between Blackburn Road and Daub Hall Lane on Sunday evening (12 July) with United Utilities working on repairs.
Witnesses had reported pooling water at the dip in Gregson Lane close to Shuttling Fields Lane and that is where the repair work is taking place.

Most of Gregson Lane is still open for access, but there is no way through where the repair work is taking place which is between Shuttling Fields Lane and Blackburn Road and close to Rowan Court.
It is not clear when the road will reopen. Blog Preston has contacted United Utilities for more information.
If the closure is still in place on Monday morning (13 July) then buses will likely divert down Daub Hall Lane.
