Motorists using a busy east-west route in Fulwood are being warned of continued disruption through until mid-August.
A road closure from Wynchor to Alderburgh Drive caused major disruption for a week due to drainage works which cut off the key link route around the northern edge of Preston.
The closure was lifted earlier this week and temporary lights are in place at the Lightfoot Lane and Alderburgh Drive roundabout now for the Lancashire County Council works.

The works are taking place to re-align an ‘existing rising main from Aldeburgh Drive to outside 148 Lightfoot Lane’.
The multi-way lights are causing queues, especially at peak times, on the busy stretch of the B6241.
Works are expected to continue through Saturday 15 August.
