Man assaulted and bank card and phone stolen in late night Preston attack

A man was left in hospital with injuries to his face after being assaulted and robbed in Preston.

The robbery happened on Cross Street, close to Winckley Square, between 11.45pm on 3 July and 12.15am on 4 July.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was left needed hospital treatment for injuries to his face. His bank card and his mobile phone were stolen.

Police have released images of people they wish to speak with in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson said: “Do you know these people?

“We want to speak to them as part of an investigation into a robbery in Preston where the victim was assaulted and had his bank card and mobile phone stolen.

“If you know them, please call 101 quoting log 0038 of July 4th or email 14532@lancashire.police.uk
