A new family attraction built around remote-controlled construction vehicles has opened in Walton-le-Dale.

Bobby Digger Land gives families the chance to operate a variety of realistic miniature machines including an excavator, a loading shovel and a dumper truck.

Designed to encourage imaginative, hands-on play, visitors can dig, scoop and move materials around the indoor play pit. Sessions can also be tailored to meet the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Alongside general admission, Bobby Digger Land offers party bookings, with private hire available for groups of at least 10 people. Sessions include 30 minutes of play followed by 30 minutes for food, drinks, cake and optional games.

The venue has a cafe serving Costa Coffee, cold drinks and snacks. Alcoholic drinks are available for adults aged 18 and over who are taking part in the activity.
