Closures and diversions will be in place during month long overnight works on the M6.
Roadworks are taking place across July and August with resurfacing taking place on a Preston stretch between junction 31a and the Whittingham Lane underbridge.
According to National Highways, overnight works will run 8pm to 6am from Sunday evening to Friday morning each morning with the overall project lasting from July 26th-August 28th.
Most nights will use lane closures only, but some overnight shifts will require full road closures.
The M6 junction 32 northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight on July 26 and 27, August 9-12 and August 16. The diversion will involve continuing to the junction 33 exit and then return south to reach junction 32
The M6 northbound carriageway will be closed at junction 32 overnight on July 28 and 29 and from August 2-6. The diversion will involve exiting at junction 32 and following a signed route to rejoin the motorway.
