Longridge delivery driver Leon Alleyne has been awarded the Domino’s Pizza ‘Driver of the Year’ accolade for 2025.

Leon, who works at the Longridge store on Berry Lane, beat 17 others to claim the title and he was presented the award at the Domino’s Store Awards, which recently took place in London.

Leon, who has worked at Domino’s for just over two years, was nominated for the title by his team members.

Originally joining the Longridge team as an in-store team member, as soon as Leon was old enough to obtain a driving licence, he got behind the wheel for a different slice of the action.

Celebrating his win, Leon said: “I am honoured to win Driver of the Year and I could not have done it without the incredible team in the Longridge store.

“I am proud to be recognised for the excellence I provide to customers. It is great to be the face of Domino’s to many and represent the brand to the highest degree.”

Sarah Barron, chief commercial and operating officer at Domino’s, said Leon represented the sort of skill, consistency and positive attitude the company was looking for in its staff.

She added: “He truly deserves this award. Domino’s is fortunate to have talented people like Leon across our teams who contribute to the brand’s continued success.”

The Domino’s Pizza Store Awards is a yearly celebration that recognises and rewards the hard work of staff across the business.
