A person was taken to hospital after a car left the M6 and flipped upside down.
Emergency services were called to the M6 between junction 32 and 33 at around 9.30pm on Monday evening (3 August).
They found that a vehicle had left the carriageway and ended up upside down off of the northbound carriageway.

A closure was put in place by Lancashire Constabulary and both Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service were called to the incident to support.
Police described the incident as being ‘minor injuries’ but a person extricated from the vehicle was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 21:27 hours on 3rd August 2026, three fire engines from Fulwood, Bamber Bridge and Lancaster attended a road traffic collision involving a vehicle which had exited the main carriageway and ended up upside down off the M6 northbound motorway between Junctions 32 and 33.
“Firefighters extricated the casualty, who was passed in to the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
