Wednesday brings us 15 MLB games for us to watch and wager on. Games start at 1:10 ET and run all the way until 10:10 ET. With all of that baseball on, bet365 is offering new users a chance to claim $365 in bonus bets to use for the rest of the MLB season.
Looking at the schedule, there are still some exciting games with significant meaning. All the National League divisions are wrapped up, but there is still uncertainty in the American League. The Mets are taking on the Rangers with a chance to play spoiler. If they can keep Texas from winning, they can draw out the American League West.
Houston is still chasing the Rangers, and they have to deal with the Mariners. At this point, Seattle can only enjoy the role of spoiler after struggling to get through this season. The Astros need to figure out who will get the ball to keep their postseason hopes alive. George Kirby goes for the Mariners, and he’s one of the better young arms in the game. This hasn’t been the best season of his career.
With 15 games to choose from today, there are plenty of possibilities to find a great wager you feel confident in. Maybe you want to focus on the American League West, or perhaps you want to avoid it completely. Either way, the choice is yours, but the best choice is to take advantage of bet365’s offer for you to claim $365 in bonus bets.
In several swing states, the 2024 election polls are practically tied. The slightest factor could impact the results either way — including the presence of a third-party candidate on the ballot. Third-party candidates don’t tend to get much traction: Without a major party behind them, every step of the electoral process is decidedly more difficult, […]

If you've got a bunch of movies on your must-watch list for April, there's good news ahead. Cineplex is bringing back its popular $5 Tuesdays movie deal for a limited time, and yes, even popcorn is cheaper.

For just two days — Tuesday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 29 — you can catch a film at Cineplex theatres across Montreal (and the rest of Canada) for only $5 plus tax.

On the same dates, you can also get a small bag of popcorn for $5, which means your movie night (with a snack) will come in for around $10 if you skip any extras. That also means for a family of four, you're looking at a movie night together for around $40. Not bad, right?

The deal applies to general admission tickets when bought in-person at the theatre.

If you're planning to buy online, the price goes up slightly due to booking fees: $6 for Scene+ members, $6.50 for everyone else, and still just $5 for CineClub members (who already pay a monthly fee for perks). The online fees include things like reserved seating and digital tickets, but just a heads-up — the fee caps at the first four tickets per transaction.

Craving a premium experience? You can still grab this deal for UltraAVX or IMAX showings, but there's an extra charge on top. And as for that popcorn, you'll need to physically ask for a small popcorn at the concession counter. No mobile orders, no combos and no fancy toppings, unless you want to pay extra, of course.

If you miss this deal, don't worry. Cineplex still offers discounts every Tuesday under their Big Deal Tuesdays program. And Scene+ members can save an extra 10% off ticket prices, which stacks nicely with those weekly discounts.

So whether you're catching the latest blockbuster or just in it for the popcorn and recliner vibes, now's a solid time to plan your next night out at the movies.

Just don't sleep on it —the $5 magic only lasts for two more Tuesdays.

$5 Tuesdays at Cineplex

Price: From $5, plus tax

When: April 22 and April 29, 2025

Address: Various locations across Montreal

Cineplex Website

This article's cover image was used for illustrative purposes only.

AI tools may have been used to support the creation or distribution of this content; however, it has been carefully edited and fact-checked by a member of MTL Blog's Editorial team.
