Former WWE NXT UK star Trent Seven will return to Caerphilly this weekend to challenge for the No Mercy Wrestling Championship.
Seven will face reigning champion MJ Grayson in the main event of No Mercy Wrestling’s Coming Undone at Caerphilly Leisure Centre on Sunday, 6 September.
The summer show will feature six matches and five championship contests, with wrestlers from Wales, across the UK and the United States taking part.
Grayson believes he has already defended his championship against everyone No Mercy has to offer and approached the promotion’s management with a request: “Bring me the best to ever walk through a No Mercy curtain.”
Their answer was Trent Seven, who will make his first No Mercy appearance in almost two years.
Known as the “Master of the Moustache”, Seven spent six years with WWE and became one of the most recognisable wrestlers on its NXT UK brand. He later competed for AEW and TNA Wrestling.
Elsewhere on the card, Adam Crater will defend the No Mercy Legacy Championship against Scottish wrestler Chris Ares.
Known as “The Conqueror”, Ares will return to Caerphilly hoping to leave Wales with the championship.
The Outbreak Championship will also be contested as reigning champion Ryan Saint faces Leon Brando.
Crosskeys wrestler Kenny Mantra will put his VCW Championship on the line against Ryan J Williams and Vivika in a Triple Threat match.
Mantra is familiar to No Mercy audiences after previously holding the promotion’s Legacy Championship for more than 450 days.
All three wrestlers will compete in the ring at the same time, with the first to secure a pinfall or submission leaving as VCW Champion.
Coming Undone will also feature an international first as American wrestler Tess Warren competes in Wales for the first time.
Warren will make her No Mercy debut and defend the Xtreme World Wrestling Women’s Championship against Violet Nyte.
Nyte, from Halesowen in the West Midlands, was trained by Welsh wrestler Flash Morgan Webster and has already won championship gold since making her professional debut in 2022.
The show’s tag team contest will see The Butcher Man and Yogi Duggan face Abigale and Belfast wrestler Morgana, who will be making her first appearance for No Mercy.
