The Northern Cape has once again set a platform for more than 4000 runners to participate in its iconic Diamonds and Dorings Kimberley Big Hole Marathon launched last year.
This time the marathon has recorded a very high participation of runners.
Last year’s winners, Bennet Seloyi for the men’s division and Fridah Ndinda for the women’s division from Kenya, successfully defended their 2025 marathon titles.

Meanwhile, a Kenyan marathon sensation, Fridah Ndinda, also retained her marathon title.
“The race was good, no that tough like the one of last year. Last year was a little bit sloppy … but this one was good. It was flat here, and we appreciate that,” she says.
