The President of Rise Tsantsabane Communities (RTC), Michael Mabilo, says the 32-year bad record of service delivery at the Tsantsabane local municipality should come to an end.

He was speaking at the party’s manifesto launch held at the Tsantsabane showground in the Northern Cape.

The manifesto focuses on permanent jobs, tackling corruption in municipal projects, community empowerment, and poor water and sanitation.

Mabilo is confident that his party will do well in the upcoming local government elections.

“As you can see, that really RTC is a product that the community of Tsantsabane at the end of the day can buy. You can even see elders; we are sitting with many elders under the tent because people of Tsantsabane have confidence in the RTC. So, the formation is about the suffering and poor service delivery. If you can drive around Tsantsabane, you will see potholes, and we have close to 40 mines around Tsantsabane.”
