Escape Hunt has opened its first venue in Wales at St David’s Cardiff shopping centre today (Friday 6 November).

The escape room operator confirmed on Facebook that Escape Hunt Cardiff was officially opening its doors this Friday, and asked people to pre-book tickets online.

The venue is at 9 Bridge Street Arcade, St Davids 2, Cardiff, CF10 2EF. According to Escape Hunt’s Cardiff site it is open from 9:30am to 10:00pm daily.

As previously announced, the site is expected to feature five escape rooms: Aladdin & the Magic Vault, Curse of the Pharaoh, Excalibur, Our Finest Hour and The Chocolate Factory. Escape Hunt’s Cardiff booking page also lists Dracula and Journey To Atlantis among its escape rooms.

The rooms are suitable for ages 8+, with prices starting from £24 per person. Under-16s must be accompanied in the room by a paying adult over 18. Each escape room has a maximum capacity of six, and bookings can be made online for groups of up to 24 players.

The venue also offers packages for birthdays, hen and stag parties, corporate events and Christmas parties, as well as full venue hire, with gift cards available to buy.

Escape Hunt opened in 2013 and has nearly 50 locations around the world.
