Hundreds of school students have been forced into isolation in Perth just days after in-classroom learning resumed.
Up to 200 Harrisdale Senior High School students are in 14-day isolation after a student who was infectious attended a Year 12 orientation day program inside a lecture theatre at the school.
The other 1400 students at the school won't be forced into a 14-day isolation unless specifically instructed to by the Health Department.

Three facilities have now recorded positive cases after Monday's return to school.
The Teachers Union is now calling on the state government to provide a date when this 14-day isolation period for close contacts will be reduced to just seven days.

However Premier Mark McGowan said it isn't possible to provide such a date at the moment.
Western Australia's 1139 schools welcomed students back to classrooms for the start of Term 1 on January 31.
The state yesterday recorded 17 new local COVID-19 cases and 12 returning from interstate or overseas travel to 8pm last night.
