Professional singer and songwriter David Operah ended his Nigerian Idol Season 7 journey at the Sunday live show.
Following the eviction system last week, David was evicted at the beginning of the show before the main performances started.
David could not secure enough votes to make the top 6 spots after 22 million viewers voted for their favourite contestants this week.
Six contestants are now in the tight race to become this season’s Idol of the year while performing Afrobeat songs to make it to the top 5 positions next week.
Viewers can vote on the Africa Magic website and the DStv and GOtv App to keep their favourite contestants in the competition. The live show continues next Sunday on Africa Magic Urban and Family from 7 pm.
