Emaxee is a rapper who gained interest in the rap scene after listening to artistes like Olamide, Wizkid and DaGrin. He started his career as an indigenous rapper.
The artiste who has dedicated time and developed the creative skill of creating, recreating, developing, and evolving as an artiste has incorporated it into how he has built his brand as Emaxee.

Emaxee will be taking us through his journey with his debut EP ‘Oranges and Lemonade.’ The rapper would be releasing a five-song project by merging his experiences and consistent growth as the basis for his messages.
“When life gives you a lemon, you make lemonades out of it” – as it goes round many lips, but Emaxee stands to challenge this as more can be made than just lemonade. Life gives us a lemon; we make lemonades as everyone has expected and create more out of it. Life provides us with a chance; why restrict ourselves to creating just a value? This is the concept of “Oranges and Lemonade”.
This is a project creating pictures of the growth process of the artiste. Emaxee as an artiste has evolved, and this project aims to prove that growth, telling the stories listeners can hold on to, relate to, and reference when good music is mentioned.
He ensured to touch on critical issues, especially among the Gen Z, such as self-confidence, the faults of the Nigerian government in impeding young creatives and innovators, and the teeming struggling youths. He extended his real-life-influenced pieces to be a romantic and free-spirited songwriter, offering clubs a jam to light up people’s moods.
The inspiration behind every song is different, as well as the story it tells; the drives and message the artist wishes to pass with every changing beat, lyric, and melody are also different.
The ‘Oranges and Lemonade’ project consists of five carefully selected Emaxee original sounds: What If Not, Balance, Silicon Valley, Forever and Skido. Here, Emaxee welcomes you to the new generational sound.
