A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Yesterday was another soggy one. Around 23 mm of rain fell in the Edmonton area. In parts of southern Alberta, there were tornado warnings issued when one was spotted near Alliance, east of Red Deer.
Today, I’m hoping, things will be a bit calmer. Maybe just some light drizzle in the morning or an afternoon rain shower.
Looking ahead to the weekend, the weather might actually start to feel a little like summer. Temperatures in the mid-twenties are in the forecast with sunshine for a few days. This is welcome news after so much precipitation. I’m ready to ditch the raincoat and slap on some sunscreen.
