Colombo, September 2 (Pakistan High Commission): The Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dinesh Gunawardena has conveyed his heartfelt condolences over the loss of precious lives and the destruction of valuable property in the recent floods in Pakistan.
In a telephonic conversation with the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Major General (R) Umar Farooq Burki, the Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan.
The High Commissioner thanked the Sri Lankan Prime Minister for the call and said that his words of comfort and support mean a lot to the people of Pakistan at this difficult time.
